Initial Configuration

For Windows 11 users, you will need to disable HVCI (Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity) in order to let Wyverns driver load.

If you have apps like Cheat Engine, please make sure to fully uninstall these as our security systems could be triggered due to the nature of the program.

Checklist

• Uninstall any 3rd Party Anti-Virus programs like Kaspersky and Avast. Even if you disable the Anti-Virus, it can still turn itself back on with elevated permissions and block Wyvern from unpacking and executing its payloads.

• Uninstall any 3rd Party Anti-Cheat programs like Vanguard or FACEIT Anti-Cheat (known to prevent Wyvern driver from loading).

• Disable Windows Defender using Defender Control.

• Disable Windows Updates using Windows Update Blocker (recommended to prevent Wyvern issues on the latest Windows updates).

• Disable MSDBL (Microsoft's Vulnerable Driver Blocklist), click this link for instructions. We recommend to do both options on the guide to be 100% sure the blocklists have been fully disabled across the system.
